Completed Building

This project is an extension of this existing school providing improved and new facilities to the original early learning centre. Included in the new part of the building are crèche, reception area, offices, staff and training rooms.

The brief concentrated on creating a much more effective school in energy and CO₂ emissions. The contract is traditional including detailed design & supervision.

ZEF has been responsible for the full MEP design & supervision and consultant for renewable energy and water saving features.

Features of the extension include:
> 18 Polycrystalline PV panels, estimated output of 2250 kW/year.
> 8 Flat plate solar hot water collectors, with a typical output of 9300 kW/year.
> Under floor heating throughout.
